    Benefits: A rare and particular honey, rich in anti-inflammatory & antiseptic properties. Considered to be an ally against coughs, the flu and aids digestion.

    Tasting Notes & Tips: This honey has a light amber colour, a rich smooth texture.  Gentle notes of citrus, and aromatic herbs, with a dry finish. Delicious in teas and infusions, spread on light, mild bread, and would also work well on yogurt or porridge.

    Provenance: Made by a family of beekeepers, whose hives are in the national park of Abruzzo, Italy. Summer Savory is an annual herb from the mint family, found across the Mediterranean. Considered to be a very rare honey due to the need for exact weather conditions during flowering, including no drought conditions during July.

  • Benefits: Thought to have healing properties for gаѕtrоintеѕtіnаl and rеѕріratоrу ailments. It’s also considered as beneficial for kіdnеуѕ, heart, and circulation. Like all raw honey it helps heal wounds, burns and skin conditions, and supports the immune system.

    Tasting notes and tips: A beautiful amber colour & not particularly floral, this honey is subtly sweet, with a gentle note of lemony acidity on the finish. The perfect breakfast honey – great on toast, yogurt or even porridge. Otherwise try it with poached pairs, roasted plums or peaches, and cheeses (mild to medium).

    Provenance: Made in Bulgaria, the bees are foraging from sunflower fields during July and August. Bulgaria has a rich heritage in beekeeping and honey production, due to its climate and rich diversity in flora and fauna.

    ​Benefits: Contains high traces of protein, plus Vitamins B2, B3, B6, B9, Vitamin C, calcium, iron, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium and zinc. May be beneficial for your immune system, and has been traditionally used as a hangover cure! It also contains antioxidants, which may help with anti-inflammation processes in the body.

    Tasting Notes & Tips: An amber colour, with an intense floral flavour and a resinous texture. The depth of  flavour makes it a fabulous with bread, toasts and cheeses. Also try it in cordials, smoothies and teas.

    Provenance: This honey comes from the Leatherwood Eucryphia Lucida tree, and is endemic to western Tasmania, Australia. The province boasts some of the world’s most cleanest air and water, and most ancient and unspoiled forests.

    Benefits: Like all raw honeys, it is highly antiseptic and anti-inflammatory. Commonly used to boost the immune system, help fight colds and flu. It’s also thought beneficial for the skin, including acne.

    Tasting notes and tips: Delicate, but with depth, rich sweet notes with a lingering aromatic finish. Great with yogurt, muesli & porridge. Try on a cheese board or roasted fruits.

    Provenance: Made in Greece from Thyme,  flowering between June and October.

    Benefits: Can help coughs and colds. Like all honeys, it’s got antiseptic qualities and can be used on small cuts and grazes.

    Tasting notes and tips: The Cumbria Flower is light and delicate, the Yorkshire Flower has deeper, fruit notes. We love them with salty, mild cheeses, on toast, or simply stirred into some Greek Yogurt with a smattering of fruit and flaked almonds.

    Provenance: Made in northern England, Cumbria & Yorkshire, United Kingdom. The bees source nectar and pollen from wildflower, tree and hedgerow blossom.

    Benefits: Like all raw honey it is a natural anti-septic and has high anti-inflammatory properties. Could also be beneficial for the treatment of colds, coughs and sore throats. It is also thought to reduce burns and scars when applied to the skin.

    Tasting notes and tips: This honey would work well with yogurt, on porridge, or with poached fruit such as pairs, apples. Pair with cinnamon, cloves and star anise flavours. Try it as a glaze for Gammon and duck. It would also work well in cakes and bakes.

    Provenance: Raw, pure honey from the Yucatán Peninsula, Mexico, South America, which is surrounded by beaches and populated with rich, tropical flora and fauna. It has a deep amber colour, with a smooth texture. This medium-strong honey has caramel sweet notes plus some acidity at the end. Made by Mexican Stingless Bees, who forage on wildflowers, plus nectar from thyme, avocado & cacti blossom.

  • Made by bees who forage across the Yorkshire countryside over the early spring to late summer months, picking up pollen and nectar from a range of flowers including tree blossom, wildflowers and other sources of forage.

     

    Benefits: Like all raw honeys, Yorkshire Flower honey has antioxidant and anti-bacterial properties. Considered beneficial for supporting the immune system, alleviating inflammation and soothing coughs and colds.

     

    Tasting notes and tips: A rich amber coloured honey, it has a supple and smooth flavour, with some hints of prune, blackberry and delicate caramel. A warming honey that’s great with porridge, crumpets, teacakes and similar. Would also work well with natural yogurt, toasted nuts and goat’s cheeses.
