Raw Hungarian Honey

  • New, larger size – 1 x 240g pack.

Benefits: A gentle honey, great for children. It may also help to keep your liver and intestines healthy, and its antibacterial properties have traditionally been used to help with any respiratory ailments.

Tasting notes and tips: A delicate, light flavour. Try it by the spoon, but it can also be wonderful with cheeses, or spread thickly on crumpets and toast. We like it topping a decadent dessert of cream and fresh summer fruits.

Provenance: Made in Hungary, the beekeeper cuts the comb directly from the honey frame that’s been in the hive.  It has nothing added and nothing removed so that it maintains all its nutritional benefits.

  • Available Sizes: 340g

Raw Acacia honey made in Hungary and British Scotch Bonnet chillies.

Benefits: Like all honeys, it’s a natural preservative, with antiseptic qualities that can soothe sore throats, coughs & colds. Chillies are also thought to help reduce inflammation in joints and support the immune system.

Tasting Notes & Tips:  Raw Acacia honey, infused with a pinch of dried Scotch Bonnet chilli. The chillies give the honey a distinctive peppery and fruity kick of ‘heat’. Try with cheeses, drizzle over grilled chicken and fish, roasted vegetables or anything that would benefit from a sweet and spicy element.
